Unique, hand-made bowl made using the burnished clay technique and decorated with a brush with a scene of a traditional Mexican family. This exceptionally crafted bowl is full of carvings, both on the inside with the portrait of a family, and the symbolism on the outside. This is the second piece in a series of 3.

This product was made by Luis Manuel Morales Gámez, a native of Tzintzuntzan, an artist and master potter recognized by the Cultural Promotion of Mexico. He has been creating high-fired ceramics for 25 years. His family has been working with clay for five generations. Manuel Morales and his father, Miguel, a traditional potter who switched from a wood-fired kiln to a high-fired kiln, worked together until his father passed away.
