Their work is recognized worldwide and they have worked and collaborated with renowned brands such as Birkenstock and Nescafé.

Additionally, his pieces are exhibited in the United Nations Art Collection and the Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago.

These pieces have achieved international recognition, actively participating in exhibitions and collaborations with major brands around the world such as Mercedes Benz, Birkenstock, UFC, Nescafé, Xcaret, Casa de
Mexico in Spain among others.

His legacy

María Mendoza , an artisan since childhood, is internationally recognized, being the protagonist in Vogue magazine and in the book "Stories of cool Mexican girls for cool girls." His artistic work not only covers the carving of figures, but also the exploration of various techniques such as painting. His participation in exhibitions and conferences has consolidated his position as a reference in the Zapotec worldview.

Jacobo Ángeles ' art has been exhibited in festivals, galleries and museums around the world. His focus on perfect geometry, vibrant colors and Zapotec elements has cemented his position as a master of folk art, being included in prestigious publications and participating in international competitions and exhibitions. His decoration technique has become a school, spreading his genius, creativity and mastery in each piece.

The workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles

The Jacobo and María Angeles workshop, since 1994, has been carving tonas and nahuals in copal wood. It fuses generational knowledge and Mesoamerican symbology, reinterpreting pre-Columbian icons with traditional textiles to preserve their cultural value.
